Superintendent Chris King's Message
The work of the Boulder Valley Safe Schools Coalition is a valuable resources to further Boulder Valley School District's commitment to excellence and equity for all of our students and staff.
Whatever their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression, students learn best and staff work best when they feel safe and respected.
We need to understand and honor the particular needs and strengths of our LGBTIQ students and staff. The Coalition's work to educate the BVSD community about LGBTIQ concerns meets this need and reflects our broader vision of celebrating diversity in all its forms.
I am personally and professionally committed to supporting the excellent work of BVSSC.
