Overview
 Boulder Valley Safe Schools Coalition offers trainings on a variety of topics related to lesbian,
gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and questioning (LGBTIQ) people and their allies. Each
training is developed in collaboration with the person or group requesting a training so that we
can provide information and activities that meet their goals. The trainings are designed to
maximize the participation of the group, and to elicit and honor the wisdom and creativity that
already exist within the group. Trainings vary in length, from one hour to all day. All of the
trainers are experienced and engaging, and trainers will provide materials and resources so that
the group can move beyond what we actually cover during the training. We hope that our
trainings will foster a safer, more welcoming environment for LGBTIQ people and their allies.
